Incredible lens for low $$.
Excellent lens for the price. Why pay $300 for the f1.4? This lens gives you very sharp, very fast photos.

My first single focal length lens. I’m still trying to adjust it…but its getting better. Very light.
The nifty fifty
What can I write that hasn’t already been said? It’s good. I’m happy with it. Takes good pictures and has helped me become a better photographer. Everyone I show my Canon XT to asks me about this lens and considering this is a prime lens with no zoom, I can’t believe how good it is for just everyday situations too. Would definitely buy it again (through Amazon) if anything were to happen to it.
